Everything between you and a first-round hit.
A real ballistic solver on your wrist — hands-free, honest, and proven. Free to download; Pro is a one-time $39.99 — no subscription, no account. Accuracy is never gated.

A real ballistics computer on your wrist
Wrist Dope is a full firing solution that lives on your Apple Watch and runs standalone — no phone in the field. Raise your wrist, dial range with the Digital Crown, and read your elevation and wind hold in MIL or MOA. The shot won't wait.
- →Standalone watch app — calculates entirely on-device
- →Live Fire is the default screen on every launch
- →Only live weather needs a signal; atmosphere can be entered by hand
New holds without leaving the scope
The target steps out at a new range. The wind switches. Get a fresh elevation and wind hold by voice — “Hey Siri, Dope for 740” — without breaking position or taking your head off the glass. On the watch and the iPhone, no app launch.
- →Re-dope by voice the instant the target moves or the wind shifts
- →No wrist raise, no app launch — stay behind the rifle
- →Set wind speed, direction, and target by voice too; works on watch and iPhone

Scan the box. Build the load.
Point your iPhone at a box of factory ammo and Wrist Dope reads the barcode and builds the load for you — cartridge, bullet, ballistic coefficient, and factory velocity — from an onboard catalog, no hand entry. Or pick from a built-in bullet catalog with factory BCs. Factory velocity is a starting point; true it to your rifle when you have real data.
- →Scan a factory-ammo UPC on iPhone to build the gun and load
- →Onboard catalog — the lookup works without a signal
- →Component-bullet picker for handloaders; factory velocity you verify and true

Know the odds before you break the shot
Lock a target and Wrist Dope gives you a real first-round-hit percentage — from your load's velocity spread, your rifle's group size, and your wind-call confidence against the target's size. When there isn't enough to estimate, it shows “—”, never a fake number.
- →Closed-form estimate, not a guess
- →Honest “—” when inputs are missing
- →Tune it with a wind-call confidence chip

Is it still enough gun at that range?
At distance the bullet sheds speed and energy, and the same hold that drops a deer up close may not at 500. Wrist Dope checks the retained energy and impact velocity at your target against the thresholds you set for the game you're after, and shows the result next to your hit probability. It's a reference to help your own call, not a verdict — confirm your data and the shot before you break it.
- →Compares retained energy and impact velocity to your configured thresholds
- →Deer, elk, and varmint presets you can adjust
- →Shown beside hit probability on Live Fire — a reference, not a guarantee

A free anti-cant level, built in
A canted rifle sends the bullet wide at distance, and you can't feel a few degrees. Scope Level is a free anti-cant level on Apple Watch and iPhone: zero it to your rifle once, then level up by ear — audible and haptic cues with a visual bubble, so your eyes never leave the scope. Mount the phone on the rail in landscape or strap the watch to the stock; Pro can put the live level beside your holds and take shot angle straight from it.
- →Free on watch and iPhone — zeroes to your rifle and mount
- →Audible + haptic + visual cues; stay in the scope
- →Pro: level beside Live Fire holds, shot angle from the level
Real physics, proven on paper
Under the glanceable interface is a true 4th-order Runge-Kutta point-mass solver with G1/G7 drag, spin drift, and Coriolis — independently built and validated against published reference trajectories to within about 0.1 MIL / 1%. Not a lookup table.
The full app on your iPhone, too
Wrist Dope on iPhone is a complete ballistics app in its own right — same solver, same holds, the full range card, target and wind capture, and your whole gun library on a big screen. Pair an Apple Watch and everything syncs; each works on its own.
Your dope on the watch face
Seven configurable complications put the solution on your watch face before you open the app — a mini range card centered on your dialed distance, elevation and wind holds with direction arrows, target, density altitude, and active load.
Aim, tap, locked
Capture the field the way you shoot it: aim your watch downrange and tap to lock target heading and angle; aim into the wind and tap to lock direction, then dial speed with the Crown. The solution moves only when you commit.
Print your whole range card
Tap share on the iPhone range card and Wrist Dope renders a clean, purpose-built dope card — every range with elevation, wind, velocity and energy — to PNG or a vector PDF for AirPrint. A QR code on the card links right back to wristdope.com.
Back up your whole library
Export your entire gun and load library to a single file you control — no account, no cloud — then import it on another device or after a reinstall. Your data, your device.
Plus: a full range card, AUTO/MANUAL environment with live density altitude, transonic-range warnings, 150+ factory cartridges with reference zero, and MIL/MOA · yd/m to taste.
